Il programma propone un percorso tra diverse formazioni cameristiche, mettendo in dialogo strumenti e stili di epoche differenti.
Dalla raffinata conversazione musicale del Kegelstatt-Trio KV 498 di Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, si passa all’intensa Ballade in una versione per viola sola di Eugène Ysaÿe, fino ai suggestivi Tre Pezzi per clarinetto di Igor Stravinskij. Il programma si completa con pagine pianistiche di Claude Debussy e con le poetiche Märchenerzählungen op. 132 di Robert Schumann, ispirate all’atmosfera fantastica delle fiabe romantiche.
